Day 1 – Arrival in Koli
Arrival in Koli and accommodation at the atmospheric Koli Runo.
- The first evening begins with a homemade welcome dinner featuring local flavors and warm hospitality.

Day 2 – Guided Hike in Koli National Park
- A half-day guided winter hike to the famous Koli peaks.
- The route is customized according to the group’s wishes, fitness level, and weather conditions.During the day, there will be a stop at the Ukko Nature Center for a warm break and panoramic views over the national landscape.
- Dinner at your own leisure in Koli village restaurants.

Day 3 – Snowshoeing Adventure to Mäkrävaara
- Discover the peaceful winter forests of Koli on a guided snowshoeing trip.

Day 4 – Woolen Sock Walk & Kick Sledding on the Ice
Experience one of the most unique Finnish wellness traditions with a relaxing woolen sock walk through the paths and meadows of Koli’s first settlers.
The day continues with kick sledding or walking on the frozen lake.
Lunch is enjoyed at the cozy lakeside restaurant Satamatuva.
In the evening, gather around the fire for a memorable outdoor dinner at Koli Runo.

Day 5 – Koli Ice Road Experience
We drive by car along the Koli ice road to the village of Vuonisjärvi, located on the other side of the lake.
Lunch will be served at a local guesthouse.

Day 6 – Winter Hike to Räsävaara & Ice Falls
- Guided winter excursion to the Räsävaara observation tower and nearby frozen waterfalls.
- Depending on snow and ice conditions, the guide will choose suitable equipment such as spikes, snowshoes, or winter hiking shoes.
- Dinner at your own leisure.

Day 7 – Husky Safari Adventure
- The final highlight of the week is an unforgettable husky safari in Juuka village.
Before departure, the guide provides instructions for safe driving.
One sled is shared by two adults, with the possibility to switch drivers halfway during the excursion.
Enjoy the thrill of dog sledding through snowy Finnish landscapes and capture unforgettable memories along the way.

- Experienced skiers can enjoy a scenic skiing adventure to a campfire spot or island,
while beginners receive an introduction lesson and guidance in cross-country skiing.

Arrival by Plane: Your experience begins with a stress-free transfer from Joensuu Airport.
On the final day, enjoy a comfortable transfer back to Joensuu Airport. Departure from the guesthouse is at 3 h before fligth.
Arrival by Train: We offer pick-up from/to Joensuu railway station .
