Laitalan Lomat Countryside Holidays offers accommodation, food and various program services and excursions. We are located in the beautiful scenery of North Karelia in the eastern part of Lakeland-Finland. Driving time from Joensuu, Kuopio and Kajaani airports is about 1.5 hours.

Visit Koli
Guided snowshoe tour to the wintry forest with snow-covered trees and to the highest scenic viewpoints in Koli National Park. The tour starts with a short introduction to snowshoeing technique – no previous experience is needed! On the tour your guide tells you about Koli, its history and culture and nature. You also have time to enjoy the nature, take photos and have fun with your snowshoes. On the tour you experience the magical winter forest, peaceful nature and fresh, pure air. During the tour we will enjoy hot juice from Kupilka cups. Welcome to discover Koli National Park on snowshoes!

A fun dashing through the snow in a husky sled, conveniently in the wilderness!
Join us for a fun actvity! A quick ride with the huskies is perfect for anyone who wants to feel the
speed of a dog team pulling you in a sled. You as a guest get to enjoy the scenery and the experience, while our experienced guide is mushing the team.The tour we will enjoy warm drinks and cookies in the kota around campfire.
