Tour of Koli Gorge

This tour leads you to the deep forests and high hills of Koli to feel and experience the nature of Koli National Park. Your local guide knows the area well and leads you to where the nature is at its best: into the forest to listen to birds singing, to an open meadow with colourful flowers or to a bog with its earthy smell. The pace on the tour is relaxed and there is plenty of time to take photos and to experience the nature. 
You start the tour by walking through old forest down to Koli Gorge before climbing up to Pieni-Koli hill. From there, you walk to Mäkräaho meadow and up to the highest and most famous peaks of Koli: Ukko-, Akka- and Paha-Koli. On the way you stop to enjoy a trail snack which is included in the tour price. Welcome to experience a day in Koli National Park!

• Difficulty Best suited for people who are fairly fit.
• There are up- and downhills on the route, but the walking pace is   relaxed. Equipment Participants should have suitable outdoor clothing, comfortable walking shoes and a bottle of water with them.
