Experience the magic of the Finnish winter with huskies, wild nature and warm Karelian hospitality. This carefully crafted small-group tour combines an intimate husky safari, unforgettable wildlife watching, traditional cuisine, relaxing saunas and a visit to the famous Bomba Spa – all set in the pristine wilderness of Eastern Finland.

Program
Day 1 – Arrival & Welcome
Arrival at the guesthouse.

Day 2 – Husky Safari
After breakfast, head out for a husky safari (Riemus Tour).
This relaxed safari lasts approximately 1–1.5 hours and covers about 2 km. One sled accommodates two adults and one child (depending on the child’s size). Adults take turns driving the sled, while children ride as passengers.
Along the way, there is time for photos and to change drivers.
Back at the kennel, you’ll have time to cuddle the dogs, learn their names and personalities, and hear stories about their lives. The experience ends in a warm yurt, where hot chocolate or coffee is served with Karelian pies and cookies.
As a small souvenir, guests receive a Wild Woods Husky buff or fridge magnet.

Day 3 – Wildlife Watching in Uuronlampi
In the afternoon, depart for Uuronlampi, one of the best wildlife observation areas in the region. Observation takes place from safe, heated wooden cabins overlooking a remote lake and untouched wilderness. You can sit comfortably – or even rest on a bunk while waiting for wildlife to appear.
Program schedule:
- Arrival at Keljanpuro Brook Wildlife Lodge
- Welcome coffee, Karelian pastries and a sweet bun
- Introduction to the tour operator and briefing on predators and wildlife
- Transfer by car to the observation site at 3:00 p.m.
- Wildlife watching, evening snack
- Return after sunset
- Dinner at the guesthouse
- Evening sauna
Day 4 – Winter Wellness & Spa
A relaxed winter day to enjoy the surroundings.

Seitas Tour
Maximum customer number at one time is 24. The group will be dived in half.
Duration of the program 2-2.5hrs. Distance 6-10km. Driven once Kajoo Lake is
frozen. One sled can fit 2 adults and 1 child ( depending size of children. One adult
driving the other sitting in the sled together with child). At half way there will be an
oportunity to have your photos taken and for the adults to change drivers (children
are not allowed to drive). When we arrive back in the kennel customers can cuddle
the dogs and learn their names and personalities. Finally, we will head to the warm
yurt were customers can enjoy hot chocolate/coffee, Karelian pies and cookies while
we tell them more about the dogs lives.
Upon departure the customers will recieve a suprise gift; a Wild Woods Husky buff
or fridge magnet.
