The route passes through the beautiful Saimaa Archipelago, the scenic hills of Karelia, and continues to Kainuu, where the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival celebrates its theme “All is Festive”

Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Helsinki (Sunday, July 12)
Arrival in Helsinki and check-in at Hotel Presidentti in the city center.
Evening free to enjoy the capital’s vibrant summer atmosphere.
Day 2 – Opera Cruise from Järvisydän and Savonlinna Opera Festival (Monday, July 13)
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Järvisydän.
Accommodation in Järvisydän’s charming lakeside hotel.
In the afternoon, embark on a unique Opera Cruise to Savonlinna.
The ship glides through the beautiful Lake Saimaa and Linnansaari National Park.
A three-course opera dinner and refreshments from the ship’s bar. The cruise arrives directly at Olavinlinna Castle, where guests proceed straight to the opera. Evening performance: W. A. Mozart – The Marriage of Figaro. Return transfer to Järvisydän after the performance (approx. 11 p.m.).
Day 3 – Valamo Monastery and Joensuu (Tuesday, July 14)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Valamo Monastery in Heinävesi.
Guided tour, exhibitions, and lunch at the monastery restaurant.
Continue to Joensuu, accommodation at Hotel Lietsu in the city center.
Dinner in town.
Day 4 – Koli National Landscapes and Nurmes (Wednesday, July 15)
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Koli National Park.
Guided walk to Finland’s most famous viewpoints – Ukko-, Akka-, and Paha-Koli.
Lunch at Koli, then drive to Nurmes for accommodation at Bomba Spa Hotel.
Visit to the Karelian Village and free time to relax at the spa.
Dinner at the hotel restaurant.
Day 5 – Chamber Music in Kuhmo (Thursday, July 16)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Kuhmo and attend selected concerts at the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival.
Enjoy Kuhmo’s summer atmosphere, the unique wooden church concerts, and the festival cafés’ delicacies.
Return to Nurmes in the evening.
Day 6 – Mikkeli and the Sights of South Savo (Friday, July 17)
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Mikkeli.
Lunch on the route.
Guided “Best of Mikkeli” tour covering the city’s main attractions.
Free time for shopping or a lakeside walk.
Accommodation at Sokos Hotel Vaakuna and dinner at the hotel.
Day 7 – Return to Helsinki and Home (Saturday, July 18)
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Helsinki.
Flight home or optional extra nights in Helsinki (available at additional cost).
