A walking tour to the wintry nature of Koli National Park – safely with snow spikes! The snow spikes, designed for professional use, are easy to use, they fit over our own shoes and give you excellent traction on icy and snowy trails. The walking pace of the tour is relaxed and there is time to enjoy the nature. You discover beautiful winter forest and spectacular views from Ukko-Koli hills. During the tour your guide, a local expert, tells interesting facts and stories about Koli, its history, nature, and culture. The walking distanced is tailored to suit each group and weather conditions. Welcome to experience the Koli hills in winter!

Distance: approx. 1 km
Difficulty: Suitable for people with normal health. The trail has some up- and downhills, but the walking pace is relaxed.

€22/person, when there are 11–40 people in the group
€220/person, when there are 1–10 people in the group
Included in the price:
An accompanying guide throughout the tour, use of snow spikes, VAT 10%.
Koli National Parks’s right of use fee per person, charged by Metsähallitus, is
included in the price.
Sustainability: We have Good Travel Seal and STF sustainable tourism certifications. We co-
operate with Metsähallitus: we pay fees for the use of trails and other facilities
in Koli National Park, and we follow the rules and regulations of the park. For
your trail meals, we do not use disposable dishes and we prefer organic and
vegetarian products. We highlight and celebrate local culture and history on our
tours
Equipment: Participants should have suitable, warm outdoor clothing and comfortable shoes preferably with high ankles.
Cancellation and invoicing policy:
Cancellation more than 14 days before the booked tour without charge.
Cancellation 14 to 4 days before the booked tour, 50% of the agreed
tour price will be charged. Cancellation less than 4 days in advance, 100% of
the price will be charged. Invoicing is based on the number of participants
confirmed 4 days prior to the tour, or if more people participate, according to
the number of people on the tour.
