Hide and seek weekend in Höytiäinen

Welcome to the unique world of Höytiäinen in Kontiolahti, where natural beauty and fascinating history meet! This large lake in North Karelia charms with its clear waters, stunning sandy shores and a history that dates back to 1859, when its surface dropped dramatically, leaving behind vast farmland. Come and enjoy the tranquillity, explore the islands and experience the magic of the lake by swimming and taking a sauna.  Accommodation in Venejoki Piilo!
Stay in a unique and personal cabin in the middle of the forest. Piilo combines the silence of nature with a unique atmosphere. The cottages blend beautifully into the surrounding forest, offering the perfect place to relax. You can wake up to birdsong and watch the sun shine through the forest directly from your cabin. A weekend away is the perfect choice for nature lovers, history buffs and anyone who needs a moment's respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
